Rank | Team | Reason |
---|---|---|
| Michigan State | Returning most of their core from last year's Final Four Run MSU is poised to be a tough team to beat especially with Cassius Winston. |
| Kansas | Once again KU back at the top with Devon Dotson coming in for his sophomore year the Kansas will hopefully get the Big 12 winstreak back |
| Kentucky | Even with 4 returning core players UK looks good enough to make a deep tournament run with another strong recruiting class |
| Florida | With the transfer of Big Man Kerry Blackshear Jr. there seems to be an extremely good chance the Gators challenge Kentucky for the SEC Crown |
| Duke | Even with the loss of the "Holy Trio" from last year Coach K has brought in another strong recruiting class and the return of Tre Jones. |
| Louisville | With the return of Jordan Nwora and lack of loss in any other players Chris Mack seems to have a good path to a potential ACC championship |
| Maryland | With only the loss of Bruno Fernando the Terps have everyone from last years squad back and at full health. Big 10 needs to watch out. |
| North Carolina | With the loss of almost all of last years squad UNC was gonna be potentially not as good but a very strong recruiting class puts them on top |
| Gonzaga | With a loss of two of their core players Gonzaga is a little worse than last year but Mark Few is a phenomenal coach so I have no worries. |
| Virginia | Even with the loss of their leaders Diakite will most likely lead this team and their sp00ky defense to another tournament birth/ |
