Rank | Team | Reason |
---|---|---|
| Kentucky | Not totally sold on them being the best yet, but gotta give credit for the big W over MSU. |
| Louisville | Balanced and deep. Williams return in a few weeks will be huge. |
| Duke | maybe the most athletic team i've seen so far. Stifling D. O needs work |
| Kansas | Too many big guys playing together. Team needs more balance |
| Michigan State | looked a lot worse then i anticipated, but tough to fault them too much since it was a good opponent |
| Ohio State | |
| Gonzaga | |
| Maryland | |
| Villanova | |
| North Carolina | Coles legit and Bacot looks good. Concerned about wing scoring potential |
| Virginia | don't know what to make of them yet but allowing 34 in b2b games is impressive. That O though needs work |
| Seton Hall | Big week ahead for them. |
| Texas Tech | |
| Florida | Ham owns them. Tough loss to a good FSU team. They'll bounce back |
| Arizona | Went from out of my top 25 to here. Looked better than i expected. Good W over Illinois. |
| Oregon | |
| Xavier | |
| Saint Mary's | Close win over Wisconsin. How good is Wisconsin really though? |
| Washington | Big win over Baylor jumps em up 4 spots for me and just ahead of BU |
| Baylor | Tough loss to an underrated Washington team |
| Utah State | |
| Florida State | Somewhat questionable loss was offset by their huge win |
| Memphis | can drop them too far yet. Certainly worth paying attention to |
| LSU | them and Auburn had closer then expected wins. Only room to keep one of them ranked |
| Texas | Big win over Purdue vaults them into the final spot |
