5 | Duke | After wins over MSU, VT & Wofford, Duke is putting that ugly SFA loss far behind them, and are on the right track. |
6 | Oregon | Oregon has played one of the toughest schedules in the country so far, and has racked up wins over Michigan, Seton Hall, Houston & Memphis. |
7 | Baylor | Baylor is on an 8 game winning streak and is looking like one of the most complete teams in the country. |
8 | Memphis | Even without Wiseman, This young Tigers team can compete with anyone in the nation. |
9 | Virginia | This defensive minded Cavaliers team looks very inconsistent, but sitting on a 9-1 record, they are deserving of this spot. |
10 | Villanova | Villanova is coming off a huge win over #1 Kansas, that should put them back in top 10 with their only losses being Ohio State & Baylor. |
11 | Kansas | Kansas falls out of the top 10 after suffering their second loss of the season. Next up is a huge road test vs Stanford. |
12 | Wichita State | Wichita State is 10-1 with wins over Oklahoma State, Oklahoma, VCU & South Carolina. This is one of the most underrated team out there. |
13 | Florida State | Florida State is now 10-2 with the win over USF. The Seminoles are looking like one of the best teams in the ACC. |
14 | Butler | Butler has one of the most impressive resumes in the country, and are coming off of a huge win over Purdue. |
15 | Michigan | After a hot start to the season, Michigan has cooled off quite a bit. Michigan still looks like one of the top teams in the Big 10. |
16 | San Diego State | The Aztecs are undefeated and just demolished a Utah team that was coming off of a win over Kentucky. |
17 | Michigan State | Michigan State has had a rough time living up to expections, but are improving and currently on a 4 game winning streak. |
18 | Texas Tech | With Jahmius Ramsey back the Red Raiders may be one of the biggest sleepers in the nation. |
19 | Indiana | The Hoosiers are 11-1 and have come away with three straight close wins over UConn, Nebraska and Notre Dame. |
20 | Liberty | Liberty has the best record in the country at 14-0, and has wins over Vanderbilt & Navy. If the Flames beat LSU then look out! |
21 | West Virginia | West Virginia is 10-1 with their only loss being by 2 points to an improving St. John's team. |
22 | Stanford | At 11-1, Stanford is one of the most surprising teams so far. They face a huge test against Kansas next week. |
23 | Tennessee | A bounce back win over Jacksonville State and some impressive wins over Washington and VCU is what keeps the Vols in. |
24 | Duquesne | "DuQuEsNe HaSnT pLaYeD nObOdY" No matter who you are or who you play, being undeafeated to this point is a tough task. |
25 | Kentucky | Back to back losses for the Wildcats, and things aren't looking to good for them. They are placed at #25 for now due to the win over MSU. |
