2	Gonzaga	I wasn't convinced on Gonzaga as a potential top team but they proved me wrong this week +3
3	Iowa	Iowa still has the best player in the country. =
4	West Virginia	Tier 2 Bob Huggins is one of the best coaches in the country and he has a talented team behind him. +5
5	Illinois	Ugly game against Ohio but teams are getting a longer leash to start the season for me +1

7	Villanova	Nova won games against a ranked and a decent team. Early season this year will be filled with similar upsets due to the uncertainty. -6
8	Duke	Tier 3 Looked pretty bad against Coppin State but you can only punish a team so hard for winning a game. =
9	Richmond	I was high on Richmond coming into the season and they proved me right against Kentucky. Favorites in a decent a10. +8

11	Creighton	very similar to Duke, did not perform well against a mediocre team. =
12	Virginia	SF is a pretty bad loss, especially considering they lost to UMass. Long leash due to circumstances. -8
13	Virginia Tech	Hit some timely threes and overcame a wacky ending to win in OT. Domination of South Florida proves they have great potential. NR
14	Michigan State	Tier 4 +6
15	St. Louis	Hard fought win against a decent LSU team. Should be competing for the A10 title. +6
16	Rutgers	-4
17	Houston	I had neither Texas Tech nor Houston ranked preseason, but Houston's win over TTU is an early season statement that they belong. NR
18	Louisville	Tier 5- Seton Hall aren't exactly what they were with Myles Powell but Louisville still looked impressive against a good team. NR
19	Arizona State	ASU played a very similar game to VT against Villanova but didn't get the late barrage of 3's. Still impressed with them -6
20	Kansas	This drop is more a result of Kansas' struggle against St. Joe's than their loss to Gonzaga. -5
21	Kentucky	Did not look great against Richmond, but this should have been expected. They're a young team that Calipari can turn around -5
22	San Diego State	Tier 6- SDSU finished last season as a top team and were unranked to start this season. Perhaps we were too tough on them. NR
23	Stanford	play basketball -5
24	North Carolina	-1
25	Western Kentucky	WKU has a former top recruit and beat two top 75 teams, while looking competitive in a loss against a top 10 team. NR
