(-) Again, we missed a surefire great game, but Baylor still beat Illinois solidly. |

|
(+1) Wisconsin's loss moved Iowa up to number three. |

|
(+2) Losses to two top five teams led to Creighton snagging #4. |

Villanova
|
(+2) I didn't want to overreact to Nova's loss, and they had a good rebounding week with a win over Texas. |

Michigan State
|
(+3) MSU beat Duke at Cameron, and that's impressive. Their performance against Detroit Mercy was interesting, but the win overrides that. |

West Virginia

(+7) It became clear this week that WVU was underrated in my poll, and I'm raising them up after their strong outing against Gonzaga. |

(-3) A loss to Baylor probably isn't much to worry about, despite the 13-point margin, and I won't drop Illinois too far. |

(+1) Houston moves up after some top ten losses. |

Tennessee

(+1) Tennessee still hasn't played, but are moving up thanks to the aforementioned top ten loss. |

|
(+12) Texas' performance winning the Maui Invitational and against Villanova established them as a top 15 team, for now. |

|
(-9) Wisconsin had their first opportunity against a good opponent, and lost. I'll be somewhat conservative here and keep them in the top 15 |

|
(-1) That win over Kentucky doesn't look as hot now, and their performance over North Dakota St left much to be desired. |

|
(+1) Richmond didn't play any games but moves up, again, thanks to losses. |

Rutgers
|
(+1) Deja Vu. Rutgers didn't play but losses move them up slightly. |

St. Louis
|
(+2) Not much to say about Saint Louis' week, as they blew out Arkansas Pine Bluff. |

Duke
|
(-4) Duke shouldn't drop too far after a loss to MSU, even if it was at home. |

North Carolina
|
(+4) UNC played pretty well at the Maui Invitational, and proved that #22 in the previous poll was a little low. |

Florida State
|
(+1) Florida St played their first game, beating North Florida handedly. They move up in a similar fashion to most teams, due to losses. |

Virginia Tech
|
(+4) Va Tech moving up four spots was more of a reshuffling of the 20s in the poll. That Villanova win will look better and better. |

(NR) Louisville has put together a good season so far, and have earned a spot here. |

(-14) UVA didn't lose but after playing safe in the last poll, they proved they don't belong in the top 10 right now. |
