falconlover79's Ballot for Week 4 of 2020-21| Rank | Team | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| 1 |
Gonzaga
|
I just really hate that COVID is preventing us from watching this insanely talented team play some ball. |
| 2 |
Baylor
|
Same with this insanely talented team, who have now had two highly ranked matchups cancelled 24 hours before tip-off. |
| 3 |
West Virginia
|
Richmond is a damn good team, and WVU blew them out thanks to some unconscious shooting. Will Miles McBride ever cool down from 3? |
| 4 |
Houston
|
This makes 3 of my top 4 teams who are currently on a COVID-related pause. Which again, makes me very sad. |
| 5 |
Villanova
|
That's two straight impressive road wins, Georgetown isn't necessarily a tough opponent, but a 42-17 2nd half speaks to this teams potential |
| 6 |
Texas
|
Sucks that they couldn't get a chance to battle with Baylor, but they'll (hopefully) get a chance to play Cade and the Pokes this Sunday. |
| 7 |
Missouri
|
Party like it's 2012. The Tigers won Bragging Rights even with a down game from Mark Smith, and they now have one of the best resumes. |
| 8 |
Iowa
|
This team makes me conflicted. They've blown everyone (including UNC) out, but they're ranked #123 in defensive efficiency on BartTorvik. |
| 9 |
Florida State
|
Prayers up for Keyontae Johnson. The Seminoles are no doubt a very solid team, and Scottie Barnes is showing a lot of promise. |
| 10 |
Clemson
|
The most underrated team in the country, the defense is absolutely nasty and they're racking up wins over power conference opponents. |
| 11 |
Kansas
|
They were able to beat Creighton despite 0 points from Ochai Agbaji, which is decently impressive. Jalen Wilson's emergence has helped. |
| 12 |
Xavier
|
Zach Freemantle has continued to light it up, with a 28 points (12/14) performance against Oklahoma. Give this team some damn respect. |
| 13 |
Michigan State
|
The Duke win doesn't quite have the same magnitude now, and they've let their fair share of Horizon/MAC teams keep it close against them. |
| 14 |
Tennessee
|
The Vols did well when you consider they played 2 quality teams who had both played a lot already. Not easy to start the season like that. |
| 15 |
Illinois
|
No shame in losing to Missouri, but I'm still waiting for consistent production from the non Ayo and Kofi members of the team. |
| 16 |
San Diego State
|
While Malachi Flynn lights it up for the Raptors, the Aztecs have refused to take a step back. Jordan Schakel has been a revelation. |
| 17 |
Indiana
|
This team would be a little higher but that weird game vs Texas still confuses me. At least TJD is starting to rise to his potential. |
| 18 |
Creighton
|
It was nearly a statement win for the Blue Jays, but instead it's just a quality loss. It's a shame that was their only strong non-con game. |
| 19 |
Michigan
|
Currently holding a commanding 0.5 game lead over 12 other teams, Michigan is your B1G leaders. PSU is a solid win, as most B1G wins are. |
| 20 |
St. Louis
|
The Bills are still living off their LSU win, which is definitely an impressive one. @Minnesota this Sunday is a chance for a 2nd big win. |
| 21 |
Oregon
|
That Missouri loss doesn't look too bad anymore. The Ducks struggled with Washington, but a road conference game vs a rival is no easy task. |
| 22 |
Texas Tech
|
TTU tends to play annoyingly poor non-con schedules, so I'm happy to see B12 play start with their game vs Kansas on Thursday. |
| 23 |
Wisconsin
|
Bad luck for the Badgers to have their game vs Louisville cancelled. URI isn't quite the same caliber, and Bucky's resume takes a hit for it |
| 24 |
Ohio State
|
EJ Liddell's mono came at a very poor time, as he could miss the games vs Purdue and UNC this week. |
| 25 |
Louisville
|
Haven't seen them in almost two weeks, but they're good. Next 10: Richmond, UVA, Oklahoma State, Arkansas, UCLA, Cuse, UConn, Marshall, UF |
