Gonzaga University Logo Gonzaga -
Baylor University Logo Baylor (-) [DROPPED: 21. Purdue, 24. Saint Louis]
University of Michigan Logo Michigan (+1)
Ohio State University Logo Ohio State (+3) Ohio State went on the road and beat Iowa, giving them their 5th ranked win of the season.
Villanova University Logo Villanova (-2) Nova lost to St. John's, the BE's hottest team, but still sit at 12-2, and should remain top 5.
Texas Tech University Logo Texas Tech (+4) TTU beat Oklahoma, where they held OU to only 18 1st half points, then took care of business at KSU. They jump up thanks to that.
University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign Logo Illinois (+6) Illinois played a... game vs Indiana then blew out Wisconsin. They're heating up, and have won 4 in a row now.
University of Virginia Logo Virginia (+3) UVA didn't pick up any amazing wins, but they won their games, when a lot of teams didn't.
University of Houston Logo Houston (-4) That East Carolina loss is very bad, and very weird. It is only Houston's 2nd loss, but that was a bad performance.
University of Oklahoma Logo Oklahoma (+2) Oklahoma moves up 2 spots despite going 1-1 this week- their loss was to TTU and they were too low last week.
West Virginia University Logo West Virginia (+3) WVU's brutal stretch of games got off to a good start, with a 12-point win over Kansas.
University of Alabama Logo Alabama (-3) Alabama blew out LSU (again), but then had their SEC win streak snapped by Mizzou, where they almost came back to win.
University of Missouri Logo Missouri (+9) Looking back, I have been judging Mizzou too harshly. Either way, they just beat the hottest SEC team, and sit at 13-3.
University of Texas at Austin Logo Texas (-8) I think this is a pretty conservative drop for Texas. They've lost 4 of 5 and their offense is floundering hard. Time to worry.
University of Iowa Logo Iowa (-7) This drop is similarly conservative. Iowa has also lost 4 of 5, including 2 to Indiana. Coaching is bringing this team down right now.
University of Southern California Logo USC (+9) A win over UCLA is great, even if UCLA was undermanned. USC is looking really good, having lost once in 11 games.
Oklahoma State University Logo Oklahoma State (+3) OKST followed up a disappointing loss to TCU with a tough, two overtime, win over Texas.
Florida State University Logo Florida State +1
Creighton University Logo Creighton (-4) Creighton has not impressed recently.
University of Tennessee Logo Tennessee (-4) Tennessee dropped a game to Ole Miss but managed to beat UK. This team is inconsistent as of recently.
Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University Logo Virginia Tech (-4) VT got slapped by Pitt, then needed an OT to beat Miami.
University of Wisconsin-Madison Logo Wisconsin (-4) Wisconsin blew out Penn State in a revenge win, but then got blown out by 15 to Illinois.
Loyola University Chicago Logo Loyola Chicago (NR) Loyola-Chicago is sitting at 17-3, and their victories haven't been particularly close. Two huge matchups vs. Drake coming up for them.
University of California, Los Angeles Logo UCLA (-1) UCLA didn't put up much of a fight against USC, but will stay ranked. They're still 13-4, and that was only their 2nd Pac-12 loss.
Xavier University Logo Xavier (NR) Xavier has not played many games recently, but they return to the rankings with an 11-2 record- and overall good resume.
