The return of Juzang and Jaquez strengthens the team after a Cinderella Final Four team last year. Most of the team coming back. Dangerous |

|
Ivey and Edey boosted their value playing in U19 competitions which I think carries this team all the way to #2. This team is winning B1G |

Villanova
|
Collin Gillespie was a key player who comes back this year and will help the cats a lot. |

Gonzaga
|
The zags lost a bit to get quite a bit back. I will love seeing Timme and Holmgren dominate |

Kansas
|
A lot of returning talent for Kansas will make them dangerous. Remy Martin into the mix puts s Kansas in my top five |

Memphis
|
Emoni Bates and Jalen Duran will make this team shine but as long as they commit to the team for one year they should be fine |

Michigan
|
The workload will be big for the front court especially for Dickinson. But some excellent recruits will keep Michigan a contender |

|
I am super high on Alabama because of a stellar recruiting class and some five stars. They are for real. |

Kelvin Sampson has players returning who got solid minutes. I think Houston can make another good run. |

Kofi Cockburn’s return was significant for me to rank them at all. Curbelo and Frazier coming back also helps out the Illini |

I am skeptical on Kentucky considering they only won 9 games last year. But it’s a fresh start so we will see where they go |

Another blue blood with a mediocre season regarding the expectation of them every year. Banchero and Moore will be exciting |

Oregon will get so much use from their transfers. I think Oregon can be coached up to be a solid team. |

I don’t feel as high on Texas as I am to other people, but I think Chris Beard can make it work. |

Florida State
|
73 year old Leonard Hamilton brings in a top 2 acc recruiting class that has me thinking they will go far |

The Hogs will be back as well. This team will be fun because of a 7’3 center and a 5’7 point guard on the floor at the same time. |

EJ Liddell, Kyle Young, Justice Sueing. These three will carry the buckeyes |

This team I think deserves a good #18 if their defense can be somewhere around top 10 |

I don’t really know much about the current Virginia team but in the past they have had AMAZING rankings in kenpom. UVA gets 21 from me |

Colorado State is my preseason MW winner with talent like Roddy, Stevens, and returning 8 of its 9 best players from 20-21. |

The Aztecs are not far behind the Rams because of nobody transferring out. We have seen past Brian Dutcher teams, and they’ve been good. |

I’m hopping on the Hokie train before it even starts. Alumna and Murphy will be forces to be reckoned with. Alleyne will also be productive |

1 year after being 16-10, Nevada returns everybody who had significance. Another year of good things being the same will make Nevada noticed |
