Rank | Team | Reason |
---|---|---|
| Kentucky | This team is loaded with talent and Tyler Ulis ties it all together. |
| Maryland | Knocked off a good Georgetown team and eventually survived Rider |
| Villanova | The competition has been lacking, but the Wildcats have still dominated as they should. |
| Michigan State | Is it March already? |
| Duke | After a loss to Kentucky, Greyson Allen scored 62 in the next two games. Need Brandon Ingram to play better. |
| North Carolina | Without Marcus Paige and on the road, a loss to UNI on the road isn't too bad. |
| Kansas | #FREEDIALLO |
| Miami (FL) | Miami is the hottest team in CBB right now. The demolished Miss. St. and Utah in Puerto Rico. |
| Cincinnati | They've faced easy competition, but have dominated each game. Looking forward to them vs Butler and Xavier. |
| Virginia | Virginia still needs to adjust to the new rules, but Brogdon is quite the player. |
| Arizona | Oregon has looked really good early, but Arizona is still the best in the Pac-12 for me. |
| Purdue | Purdue is up there with Miami as one of the hottest teams in CBB right now. They put a good Florida team away in the second half. |
| Indiana | Offense, offense, and more offense. |
| Oklahoma | Still haven't seen a ton, but they only fall because of teams jumping them this week for me. |
| Gonzaga | Really wish the Pitt game could have been finished, but the Zags have dominated bad teams. |
| Oregon | The offense looks super smooth, and Oregon knocked off a good Baylor team with not a lot of people watching. |
| Iowa State | I'm not really sure what to think of Iowa State so far. |
| Texas A&M | Texas A&M is the second best team in the SEC right now. Lot's of veteran weapons. |
| UConn | Another good team that has simply dominated bad teams. Looking forward to seeing what they do against Michigan. |
| Louisville | They've yet to be really tested, but so far Louisville is playing like one of the top ACC teams. |
| Vanderbilt | Stony Brook gave them a scare, but Vanderbilt is still a force to be reckoned with. |
| California | The bears should beat E. Carolina by more than 8 at home, but the young talent can't be ignored. |
| Baylor | A loss to Oregon in Eugene just showed me Oregon was a better team, but Baylor is still contender in the Big 12. |
| Xavier | They let Mizzou stay closer than I thought they should, but then re-convinced me with a big win over Michigan. |
| Iowa | Just like their football team, the Hawkeyes are undefeated an not getting much attention. 3 big wins so far. |
