Rank | Team | Reason |
---|---|---|
| Kentucky | Rightfully so. |
| Maryland | You cannot deny the terps the 2 spot after dropping no games in No. 3 |
| Michigan State | Move over, Kansas, your top five spot as been conquered. |
| Oklahoma | Oklahoma has the talent, and with the other teams not stepping it up and winning big games, I think Oklahoma will prove they can shortly. |
| Duke | Can you blame Duke for losing to Kentucky? Can you? While flaws were exposed, it's clear they have a backpack carrier in Greyson Allen |
| Iowa State | ISU hasn't really played anyone. |
| Kansas | The loss to MSU isn't that terrible. Their star recruit is ineligible due to the NCAA. MSU is a great team. |
| Arizona | Arizona is Arizona. They're big, tough, strong and most certainly capable. |
| Villanova | Villanova has been statistically dominant. Thought competition is slim, it's a comfortable slot for them to be in. |
| Gonzaga | Gonzaga. Grr. |
| Notre Dame | ND is gonna be great again. |
| Indiana | The rule is simple - If you don't drop a game, you don't drop a rank. Unless you're Gonzaga. So here, have a couple. |
| North Carolina | UNC dropped a must-win in my opinion. You need to prove you can win without your star player. You must be able to prove that. |
| Miami (FL) | This team is the real deal right now. Let them live it up. |
| Virginia | Here are my top 15. Rounding it up is Virginia, a highly capable team with a missfire game. |
| UConn | |
| California | |
| Vanderbilt | |
| Purdue | |
| Baylor | |
| LSU | |
| Michigan | |
| Oregon | |
| Providence | |
| West Virginia |
