Michigan State University Logo Michigan State Florida gave them a good scare, but Izzo's squad is still the best team in the land in my opinion.
University of Oklahoma Logo Oklahoma I give them the slight edge over Kansas because of the beat down they gave Villanova early this week.
University of Kansas Logo Kansas They've added a great player and that loss to Michigan State doesn't seem that bad anymore.
Purdue University Logo Purdue Their schedule hasn't been the best, but they still handedly beat Florida and Pitt. 11-0 and nothing's been close.
Xavier University Logo Xavier Still undefeated and coming off a rivalry win, this Xavier team keeps looking better and better.
University of Kentucky Logo Kentucky Coach Cal will continue to improve this team, and it's already showing after the loss to UCLA
University of Virginia Logo Virginia I think the game between Villanova and Virginia next week can decide which one of these teams belongs in the top 10.
Duke University Logo Duke Duke keeps getting better, but their only impressive win in my mind is over a not so great Indiana team at home.
Iowa State University Logo Iowa State Man was that Iowa game entertaining, but without Hilton Magic, I'm not sure where this Iowa State team really is.
University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Logo North Carolina The Tar Heels are 0-2 on the road with losses to two decent teams. Still think they'll be a Final Foul possibility all year.
University of Maryland, College Park Logo Maryland I still have a few questions about Maryland, especially without Melo Trimble. Looking forward to B1G play for this team.
Villanova University Logo Villanova I was just as high as everyone else on the Wildcats last week, but Oklahoma shut all of that down quickly.
Baylor University Logo Baylor The win over Vanderbilt was impressive, but I'll be really impressed if the Bears can go into College Station and beat Texas A&M as well.
University of Miami (Florida) Logo Miami (FL) The Canes beat a good Florida team by more than Michigan State did FWIW, and I still think Miami can contend in the ACC.
University of Arizona Logo Arizona PLAYING SUNDAY. Arizona needs to get a decent sized win over UNLV next week to really impress me.
University of Louisville Logo Louisville Louisville hasn't played anyone other than they loss to Michigan State, but has killed everyone else. Go to Rupp on the 26th, and that's it.
Southern Methodist University Logo SMU Still undefeated and it's a shame they decided not to appeal their postseason ban for this season.
West Virginia University Logo West Virginia Press Virginia was thwarted in the second half against Virginia, but this will still be a good basketball team all year.
University of Iowa Logo Iowa Jared Uthoff! That game was so fun to watch and I think this Iowa team is the best 3 loss team in the country.
University of Cincinnati Logo Cincinnati Xavier proved they were the better team at home, but I still think this Bearcats team has a high ceiling.
University of South Carolina Logo South Carolina If South Carolina can beat Clemson next weekend, I have a feeling more people should start having them in the polls as well.
University of Florida Logo Florida Florida needs a little more offense, but their only losses are to Purdue, Miami, and Michigan State all away from home.
Butler University Logo Butler We'll see how far their offense gets them against Purdue next week, but for now it will keep them in my rankings.
Vanderbilt University Logo Vanderbilt It stinks to see Luke Kornet go down with injury, and I think that factor helped Dayton get the win. Still a strong team without the 7'-er
Providence College Logo Providence They have 10 wins, 1 loss (to Michigan State) and have the best player in the country. As the supporting cast develops, this team can be goo
