1 University of Oklahoma Logo Oklahoma (1) Same explanation as last week. Ultimately UNC and OU are 1A and 1B. OU has the better resume though, so OU's 1st in my ballot
2 University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Logo North Carolina (2) Really they are 1B. Chance Monday to improve the resume
3 Villanova University Logo Villanova (4) Won their only game this week. Have a good resume. 3rd in KenPom
4 University of Iowa Logo Iowa (3) Lost at Maryland, but losing on the road isn't that bad this season. Wins over Purdue, Michigan State, and Michigan
5 University of Maryland, College Park Logo Maryland (12) Won at home vs Iowa, but still think Iowa would win on a neutral court in a close game. Maryland has 1 good win vs Iowa at home.
6 Texas A&M University Logo Texas A&M (5) Lost at Arkansas, beat Iowa State at home. Losing on the road isn't terrible, but Arkansas isn't good. Not a bad resume though.
7 Xavier University Logo Xavier (13) Some good wins, but no great wins. The only bad loss is at home to Georgetown.
8 University of Kansas Logo Kansas (8) Lost at Iowa State, which isn't a bad loss and something I thought would happen. Good resume though.
9 Baylor University Logo Baylor (9) No bad losses and a win in Ames looks good, but they don't have much else. Big week this week.
10 University of Virginia Logo Virginia (14) Destroyed Louisville in the YUM center to give them their first good win on the road.
11 Providence College Logo Providence (8) Only bad loss is to Marquette. They did lose at home to Xavier, but they also have a win at Nova.
12 Iowa State University Logo Iowa State (10) Beat KU at home, but lost at Texas A&m, which isn't terrible. Good resume for ISU though.
13 West Virginia University Logo West Virginia (6) Beat KSU at home, lost at Florida by a lot. They've also lost 3 of the last 5. Big week for them. They go to Ames and host Baylor
14 Purdue University Logo Purdue (15) 1 bad loss at Illinois. They have a decent resume. They go to Maryland this Saturday which could be a big win.
15 University of Louisville Logo Louisville (11) Very poor performance at home vs Virginia can all be forgotten if they knock off UNC this Monday.
16 Michigan State University Logo Michigan State (17) After losing 3 straight, they've now won 3 straight. Big game at Michigan this Saturday.
17 Wichita State University Logo Wichita State (18) They're on a roll. Good win over Evansville on the road, and ever since VanFleet got healthy, WSU's been really good.
18 Southern Methodist University Logo SMU (16) No great wins, 1 loss, but still don't have great wins.
19 University of Oregon Logo Oregon (25) Have wins over Valpo, Baylor, USC, and Arizona. Have some poor losses on the road but have won 4 in a row now.
20 University of Kentucky Logo Kentucky (23) Yes, they lost in AFH, but it was in OT, and UK is starting to figure it out, at least, I think they are.
21 University of Miami (Florida) Logo Miami (FL) (20) Beat Duke and then lost at NC State. Has a win over Utah, but that's it.
22 University of Dayton Logo Dayton (UR) 3 losses, 2 of them are bad, but has a win over Iowa
23 University of Arizona Logo Arizona (19) Lost to Oregon, which isn't a terrible loss, although it was at home, but they don't have any great wins.
24 Saint Mary's College of California Logo Saint Mary's (UR) They are only in my poll because all the other teams lost. They beat Gonzaga and that's it and have lost at Pepperdine.
25 Indiana University Bloomington Logo Indiana (24) It seems like Indiana will never win at Wisconsin. They get to their tough part of the Big 10 schedule after next week.
