grubberbeb's Ballot for Week 14 of 2015-16| Rank | Team | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| 1 |
Villanova
|
Strong win @Providence to go with the blowout of a decent Creighton team. Nova looking good this week and ready for the program's first #1. |
| 2 |
Oklahoma
|
Not ready to give up on the Sooners. Think they have two dominating wins coming up against Texas and Kansas. |
| 3 |
Iowa
|
Not a very active week, but I think they played well enough to slightly edge Xavier. |
| 4 |
Xavier
|
Another relatively quiet week. St John's win could have been better, but Xavier has plenty of chances to prove itself coming up. |
| 5 |
Maryland
|
Game vs Purdue felt like two teams playing badly, Maryland just played less badly. Win is a win though, and against a good team to boot. |
| 6 |
Virginia
|
BC win not quite as dominating as it could have been, but strong road win @Pitt. Seem to have found the flow factor from last season. |
| 7 |
Michigan State
|
Another very solid week. Games against Purdue and IU could prove that the dominant team is back. |
| 8 |
Kansas
|
Maybe lower than they should be, with the Jayhawks now perhaps snapping their road funk. Tough week ahead to see where they stand. |
| 9 |
West Virginia
|
Snagged a win @Hilton (and vs Baylor). Now can they do the same @AFH to complete the sweep? |
| 10 |
North Carolina
|
No longer "on another level" from the rest of the ACC; struggling against decent teams. Maybe some time to regroup will do them good. |
| 11 |
Oregon
|
Continue to be very good and on a roll. Pac12 has been crazy but they are going to win it. |
| 12 |
Louisville
|
Now with no postseason, they are going to be very hungry. Good win to dethrone UNC. Week coming up will make or break them. |
| 13 |
Miami (FL)
|
Good work done this week. Hopefully snapped their road woes. |
| 14 |
Texas A&M
|
Brought back down to earth a little this week. Maybe that hellspawn kid shouldn't have jeered Niang. Still some shots at redemption though. |
| 15 |
Iowa State
|
Couldn't hold off West Virginia but somewhat redeemed by a decent road win. |
| 16 |
SMU
|
Could SMU and Louisville both snatch regular season champions? SMU may be slipping, we'll see if they can hold on. |
| 17 |
Purdue
|
Game @Maryland was certainly winnable, just played poorly. Bad shooting performance and game plan but the potential is still there. |
| 18 |
Arizona
|
Completed the sweep of the Washington schools. Now can they get revenge on the LA schools? |
| 19 |
Baylor
|
Not a good week, and it isn't going to get easier in this conference. |
| 20 |
Dayton
|
Good performances against not-so-good opponents. Competition picks up a bit in the next couple weeks. |
| 21 |
Kentucky
|
Skal "from number-2-recruit to not-a-projected-draft-pick" Labissiere, everybody! |
| 22 |
Texas
|
Very difficult games ahead, but I think they maybe have potential for greatness. Hook 'em horns baby. |
| 23 |
Indiana
|
Good road win followed up by bad road loss. Crean doin his thang. |
| 24 |
Providence
|
One decent loss and one bad loss. You won't believe Kris Dunn's weird trick to stay ranked. Kenpom hates him! |
| 25 |
Duke
|
Not a bad week from the Dookies. You can tell they really love the game and eagerly await the second coming of Amile Christ. |
