falconlover79's Ballot for Week 4 of 2016-17| Rank | Team | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| 1 |
Kentucky
|
No reason to move them down from last week. Next week should be a little more tough with UCLA looking good. |
| 2 |
North Carolina
|
Wow what a performance in Maui. I'm getting very impressed with Joel Berry so far. |
| 3 |
Villanova
|
Quiet week for the Wildcats but they dominated their only opponent. Some serious Big 5 action for them next week. |
| 4 |
Virginia
|
They might have been even higher if not for the 2nd half against Providence. This defence is special. |
| 5 |
Kansas
|
Solid 3 win week for the Jayhawks, although they had no success guarding Yante Maten. |
| 6 |
Duke
|
No movement for Duke, still waiting to see those freshmen in the line-up. |
| 7 |
Baylor
|
It's impossible not to be impressed by this team. 4 quality wins already and they've got an opportunity for more against Xavier this week. |
| 8 |
Gonzaga
|
I'm very high on this team although they almost slipped up against the Cyclones. |
| 9 |
Creighton
|
Creighton is now entering the part of their non-conference schedule where they should dominate, like a top 10 team would. |
| 10 |
Xavier
|
If only Xavier could play Northern Iowa for every game this year. Big test this weekend in Waco. |
| 11 |
UCLA
|
This team dominated November but December is filled with more challenging match ups for them. |
| 12 |
Saint Mary's
|
Their game against Stanford may be their last real challenge until mid-January. |
| 13 |
Butler
|
This may be a little high but I really like what I saw against Arizona. They need to follow it up against another tough team in Utah. |
| 14 |
Indiana
|
Oh goodness. Every good team slips up but the Hoosiers need to get back on track in a hurry. The Heels are waiting. |
| 15 |
South Carolina
|
I was very impressed with Syracuse until the Gamecocks dismantled them on Saturday. The win against Michigan was dominant too. |
| 16 |
Iowa State
|
The Cyclones faced adversity in Orlando. They responded well and nearly had a miraculous comeback against the Zags. |
| 17 |
Arizona
|
The loss to Butler hurts and their quality win over Michigan State doesn't look quite as good as it did originally. |
| 18 |
Louisville
|
B4A wasn't quite as good for the Cardinals as I had hoped. ODU in OT wasn't a good start and losing the lead in the final wasn't a good end |
| 19 |
Maryland
|
There's something to be said about a team that can constantly come through in the clutch. Melo is proving to be a true leader. |
| 20 |
Syracuse
|
The Orange did not respond to their first test very well, but Boeheim should have his team ready for the second one. |
| 21 |
Notre Dame
|
The Irish quietly beat 2 solid teams early in the week. The rest of their wins have been absolutely dominant. |
| 22 |
Purdue
|
Big opportunity this week against the Cards. They played well in Mexico too. |
| 23 |
Wisconsin
|
They never quite looked solid in Maui. They could have easily lost to the Vols or to Georgetown. |
| 24 |
USC
|
Wins over Texas A+M and SMU are nothing to laugh at. The Trojans could contend in the PAC 12 this year. |
| 25 |
Cincinnati
|
Excited to see this bunch play against Iowa State on Thursday. Next 5: VCU, Texas A+M, URI, WVU, tOSU |
