InHoc12's Ballot for Week 4 of 2016-17| Rank | Team | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| 1 |
Kansas
|
(1) Same as last week. Was the lone poller with them at 1 and imagine it will be the same. |
| 2 |
Duke
|
(2) Same as last week. |
| 3 |
Kentucky
|
(3) Same as last week. |
| 4 |
Gonzaga
|
(7) Spanked us and then beat Florida and Iowa State. Jordan Matthews and Williams-Goss have joined with ease. Collins looks legit. |
| 5 |
Villanova
|
(4) Move back only because Gonzaga moved up. |
| 6 |
North Carolina
|
(6) Big wins against Ok State and Wisconsin, but stay where they are. Feels too low, but I don't know who I would bump above. |
| 7 |
Virginia
|
(9) Still haven't had a tough match up, but it's impressive how they are putting teams away. |
| 8 |
Xavier
|
(12) I knocked them down and now moved them back. Winning back to back games against UNI how they did is impressive. |
| 9 |
Indiana
|
(5) Them looking great was the reason I had Kansas at 1 last week, but they've now shown they're vulnerable. |
| 10 |
Creighton
|
(16) Had them at 16 last week which was messed up. They move up by virtue of Wisconsin, Syracuse, WVU, Arizona and Oregon all losing. |
| 11 |
Saint Mary's
|
(15) Seems too high, but everyone else is losing. |
| 12 |
Baylor
|
(NR) Go from unranked to 12 for me. I wanted them to prove that the Oregon game wasn't a fluke. Well they certainly did that this week. |
| 13 |
Louisville
|
(10) I did some CFB playoff comittee stuff putting Baylor at 12 so I could put Louisville here. |
| 14 |
Purdue
|
(18) Auburn is no joke and they slaughtered them. |
| 15 |
Iowa State
|
(NR) Impressed that even though size was their big concern going into the season they did well against Gonzaga. Big jump for Iowa State. |
| 16 |
URI
|
(19) Belmont isn't an impressive win this year, but still move up. |
| 17 |
Syracuse
|
(10) First real challenge and got rocked. Is South Carolina the real deal? |
| 18 |
Arizona
|
(13) Butler isn't a bad loss, but I wasn't impressed with this team beforehand either. |
| 19 |
Maryland
|
(19) It pains me to have Maryland here because it's not too deserved, but everyone is losing and they're not. |
| 20 |
UCLA
|
(24) Finally played someone that was a challenge (A&M) and performed. Ball looks good. |
| 21 |
Cincinnati
|
(21) Same as last week. |
| 22 |
Oregon
|
(8) I was really high on this team preseason. They obviously don't have it all together right now. Hopefully Brooks is back soon. |
| 23 |
Wisconsin
|
(10) Still higher than most. North Carolina and Creighton are good teams. How they lost is concerning though. |
| 24 |
West Virginia
|
(15) Hadn't played anyone and lost to Temple. That said Temple is a good team. |
| 25 |
Notre Dame
|
(NR) I slept on them. Good wins against Colorado and Northwestern. Last 5 out: Colorado, NC State, Ohio State, SDSU, Butler. |
