Rank | Team | Reason |
---|---|---|
| Villanova | Kentucky loses, Villanova wins. |
| Duke | Tatum and Bolden back from injury - think this team starts back on the upswing. Nice win over MSU, UF will be the real challenge. |
| Baylor | Baylor just simply has the most impressive resume of any team so far... complete beatdown of Xavier in the final 10 min. Very athletic. |
| Kansas | Kansas is right there with Baylor - Baylor only jumped because of the more impressive resume at this point. |
| UCLA | I can no longer make an argument that this team is overrated. |
| Kentucky | Talent-wise I think they're the best team in the country. Resume doesn't yet agree. |
| Gonzaga | OK fine, Gonzaga finally jumps St Marys. Throttled Arizona, really impressive resume on neutral floors. |
| Indiana | I think Fort Wayne was a weird fluke, willing to ignore it more now that this team handled UNC |
| North Carolina | Losing at Indiana isn't a big deal, really. |
| Saint Mary's | Took care of business at Stanford. Some quality wins, but missing the signature ones. |
| Creighton | Creighton goes here for now - same old |
| Xavier | Don't think the loss @ Baylor hurts that much, but man they looked bad in the second half. |
| Louisville | Stayed a step ahead of Purdue |
| West Virginia | Really impressive win over Virginia, a team I thought was difficult to bother. |
| Virginia | 0.93 PPP against WVU, but mostly a function of turnovers. Think they're ok. |
| Florida | Nothing new here |
| Butler | |
| Purdue | |
| South Carolina | |
| Wisconsin | |
| Cincinnati | |
| Ohio State | If it looks like a top 25 team, it is one. |
| Arizona | |
| Notre Dame | |
| Virginia Tech |
