Rank | Team | Reason |
---|---|---|
| Duke | Duke has simply not been defeated yet and has been the #1 team in the country. It's hard to say they shouldn't remain #1 w/ comp defeated. |
| Kansas | They didn't lose and played well this week! |
| Michigan State | They didn't lose to any bad teams yet and they deserve a chance to climb back to the #2 spot, slowly. |
| Villanova | They did well this week, no problem letting them climb. |
| Kentucky | They are almost back to where they started. |
| North Carolina | They did well this week, no problem letting them climb. But I think they lose to MSU |
| Florida | They could be the best team in the SEC right now. |
| Miami (FL) | Played very well, can't wait to see the Minnesota matchup next week. |
| Notre Dame | They defeated a top 10 team, therefore they should slide into the top 10. |
| Cincinnati | Keep on climbing. |
| Minnesota | They also get to keep on climbing. |
| Texas A&M | Haven't lost and have played BIG12/B1G teams and they defeated USC. |
| USC | They lost but to a rising team, which cushions the blow. Slightly. |
| Wichita State | They lost and need to earn their way back to the top. |
| Louisville | Some big jumps after losses from other teams. |
| Baylor | Some big jumps after losses from other teams. |
| West Virginia | Almost gets back to where they were in the preseason solely because they have done well since. |
| Gonzaga | Lost to a ranked team in the top 10. It won't hurt too much. |
| Texas Tech | They have been doing well and will probably keep on climbing. |
| Xavier | Lost to an unranked team in a blowout. |
| Virginia | They have played well as of late! |
| Creighton | Out goes one Big East team in comes another! |
| Providence | They have played well as of late! And with Minnesota being their only loss I think they should be let back in. |
| Purdue | I really scratch my head here but decided to leave them in after defeating Arizona. |
| Penn State | They have to be the 3rd hottest team in the Big Ten, destroying opponents and hanging tough with their good competition. |
