Rank | Team | Reason |

| Villanova | A win against LAS with Booth/DiVincenzo's 18 keep the Wildcasts undefeated and propel them to #1 in my mind with Duke/Kansas losses.Next:TEM |
| Michigan State | The Spartans had 3 players with 17 against SUU. This team looks even stronger than their loss to Duke and win against UNC. OAK is next. |

| Wichita State | The Shockers still look good. Shamet had 30 against OKST. OKLA is their next target. |

| Duke | After a dismantling of SFU, Duke finally takes it's first loss (an away ACC game again no less) against BC. They need to regroup quickly. |

| West Virginia | The Mountaineers got some nice wins against UVA and PITT this week, and have looked great after starting with a loss to the Aggies. |
| Kansas | After such a strong start, Kansas had a horrible week with two losses to WASH and ASU. NEB is next. |
| Seton Hall | Yarr, the Pirates are doing well these past few games. In their last 3, they've beaten ranked TTU/LOU and VCU. SPU is next. |
| TCU | The Horned Frogs are one of the few perfect teams left so far this season, squeaking out a win against Nevada. TXSO is next. |

| Notre Dame | An ugly loss to BALL, the Fighting Irish pick back up with a win against Delaware. They play in-state against IND next. |
| Purdue | TBD. Despite their earlier losses, Purdue stays on the hot streak with wins against NW, VALP, and IUPU. BUT is next. |
| Virginia | The Cavs just couldn't squeak a win past WVU, even playing at their slower pace. Davidson is up next. |
| Baylor | Omot had 30 against Randall, and the Bears improve to 7-2 in play. TXSO is next this week. |
| Florida | Oh dear. After a close loss to Duke last week, the Gators drop their next two (FSU/L-IL no less), but grab a much needed win against CIN. |
| Texas Tech | Despite a tough loss against Seton Hall, the Red Raiders strike back with a win against ranked Nevada. KENN is next. |
| Cincinnati | Two tough losses against Xavier (who have looked strong), but also Florida (who dropped 3 in a row). Bearcats? MSST is next. |
| Tennessee | Welcome to the Top 25 Tennessee. Good wins at GT and against LIP, but their big test is next: UNC. |
| Louisville | With some teams dropping out this week, I think we can let the Cards back in, no? Their two losses this season have come to strong teams. |
| UCLA | A few decent wins with Minnesota dropping 3 of their last 4 welcome back the Bruins into the top 25 this week. |
