Reisende3's Ballot for Week 6 of 2017-18| Rank | Team | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| 1 |
Michigan State
|
For me there is a clear top tier of three teams. For now, MSU's bigs wins over UNC and ND have them as my number one team. |
| 2 |
Villanova
|
I was slated to have Nova in the first position, but the close game against La Salle increased my uncertainty about them, so I have them 2nd |
| 3 |
Duke
|
Still a young team that is learning, but they have a sky high ceiling and already have some good wins on their resume. |
| 4 |
Miami (FL)
|
The Minnesota win doesn't look as good now, but Miami still looks to be a strong team. Want to see the same production as they hit ACC play |
| 5 |
Wichita State
|
Struggled to break through from South Dakota State, but they did eventually. |
| 6 |
Arizona State
|
Huge win at Allen Fieldhouse adds to the impressive victory against Xavier. |
| 7 |
Texas A&M
|
That West Virginia win continues to look impressive. Class of the SEC, to me at this point. |
| 8 |
North Carolina
|
Will know more about this team after the Tennessee game.At this point, they don't have a win against a ranked team. |
| 9 |
Kentucky
|
Similar to UNC, they don't hae any big wins yet and have lost to the best team they've played. |
| 10 |
West Virginia
|
Big win against UVA. Might be able to give Kansas a run for their money this season. |
| 11 |
Xavier
|
The Arizona State loss looks better by the day. Solid Baylor and Cincy wins. |
| 12 |
Gonzaga
|
Loss to Villanova doesn't hurt too much |
| 13 |
Seton Hall
|
Got through a difficult stretch of games with only the loss against Rhode Island., |
| 14 |
TCU
|
Recently got some solid wins against SMU and Nevada. Need to see continued strength as schedule gets to Big 12 play. |
| 15 |
Purdue
|
Looking much better since Atlantis. Clear number 2 in the Big Ten |
| 16 |
Virginia
|
Loss at WVU doesn't change their standing much with all the movement elsewhere. |
| 17 |
Notre Dame
|
Bad loss to Ball State, but still have one of the most impressive wins against Wichita State. |
| 18 |
Kansas
|
Poor week. I settled between Notre Dame and FSU. Notre Dame has the better win than KU and FSU is still a bit untested overall. |
| 19 |
Florida State
|
Win over Florida doesn't look quite as good now after they lost to Loyola. Weak strength of schedule hurts at this point. |
| 20 |
Baylor
|
Lost against the best two teams they've played, but kept it close against Wichita and beat a good Creighton team. |
| 21 |
Tennessee
|
The game against UNC will tell us more about who UT is, but they're off to a great start. |
| 22 |
Texas Tech
|
Notched a solid win against Nevada. |
| 23 |
Florida
|
Salvaged their week with the victory against Cincinnati. Have a high ceiling, but also a relatively low floor if the shots aren't falling. |
| 24 |
Arizona
|
Seems like they're much improved from their Atlantis performances with three solid wins, particularly over Texas A&M. |
| 25 |
Cincinnati
|
Cincinnati is a good team, but losing their games against the best two teams they've played hurts. |
