Rank | Team | Reason |
---|---|---|
| Villanova | Balanced, complete, and vaporize everyone they play |
| Michigan State | Post-Duke Sparty is a death machine |
| North Carolina | Can just pull a big run out of their ass at anytime against anyone |
| Arizona State | Yet another P6 win with an epic comeback |
| Miami (FL) | Love their team, but a brutal case of "ain't played nobody" |
| Xavier | I thought they were overrated based of the elite 8 run. I was wrong |
| West Virginia | Exactly the West Virginia that's one so many games the past few years |
| Kentucky | Ahhh at long lost a good looking win over VT, still have no good read on this team |
| Duke | The exam break came at a weird time, but the front court is still terrifying |
| Texas A&M | Speaking of terrifying front courts, the Davis-Hogg-Williams group is fantastic |
| TCU | The one team I really need to see, it's a pretty good looking 10-0 though |
| Purdue | Like another team below, have recovered nicely from their Atlantis stumbles |
| Oklahoma | Trae Young doesn't care about your Buddy comparisons, or your defenses |
| Texas Tech | Still one of the teams that pleasantly surprised me when watching on TV |
| Wichita State | A good team without McDuffie, can he make them a great one? |
| Virginia | Watching the defense in person is a site to behold, they play their asses off |
| Kansas | I'm still not ready to write them off, this is a brand bias but I think a justified one |
| Cincinnati | Still one of the better Cincinnati teams of the Croninberg era |
| Baylor | I thought they'd miss Motley a lot more than they have |
| Arizona | Don't look now but they are coming back in a hurry |
| Seton Hall | Still my favorite non Nova-X team by a long shot |
| Gonzaga | They've rebuilt pretty nicely given the roster turnover |
| Clemson | Manhandled both Ohio State and Florida in their own gyms, stay tuned |
| Arkansas | A bit under the radar, but this is yet another solid Hogs team |
| Tennessee | UGH, so damn close. I like them defending their home court in SEC play though |
