Rank | Team | Reason |
---|---|---|
| Michigan State | 1/2 Honestly, this was probably the hardest part. I know that Duke has the head to head victory over MSU |
| Duke | 2/2 However, Duke's loss to Boston College is much worse. However, these two are incredibly close. |
| Villanova | Even with a loss to Butler, Villanova is an extremely strong team. They almost had a comeback from 20+ points |
| Arizona State | Even with a loss to Arizona, they have one of the best resumes in the country |
| Xavier | X gonna give it to ya. One of the more consistent teams in the country. |
| West Virginia | Still undefeated inside of the United States, but they still have a good win against Virginia, and haven't lost since their first game |
| Oklahoma | Trae Young is the best player in the country right now. |
| Texas A&M | Bad loss to Alabama, but still have a win in Germany against WVU |
| Virginia | Only loss to a good WVU, but they haven't had a staple win yet. |
| Purdue | Wins vs. Arizona and Butler look good now. The WKU loss will haunt them throughout the season tho |
| Arizona | Since the disaster that was the Battle 4 Atlantis, they've recovered incredibly well |
| TCU | Close loss against Oklahoma. This team is still one of the best |
| Wichita State | While the Oklahoma loss looks good, they haven't had a staple win. |
| Kentucky | Good showing against Louisville |
| Kansas | |
| North Carolina | |
| Miami (FL) | |
| Gonzaga | |
| Texas Tech | Still looking solid after winning the BU-TT bowl |
| Arkansas | |
| Cincinnati | Their loss to Xavier is looking better by the day |
| Seton Hall | Good win against Creighton, I am very scared of this team. |
| Clemson | These last 3 slots are here because I couldn't think of any better teams to put in. |
| Tennessee | Close loss to Arkansas on the road, still have the win against Purdue, which gives them a boost |
| Auburn | Also considered: Crieghton, Butler, Florida State, Baylor, Notre Dame, Alabama |
