Rank | Team | Reason |
---|---|---|
| Virginia | That last possession was tough to watch. Good game, UVA. Could be the best defense I've ever seen. |
| Villanova | The winner of the Big East should be a 1 seed regardless of who it is. I'm excited for a Nova-Hall rematch if it happens. |
| Michigan State | The 12 or 13 days of rest for B1G teams will either hurt them or benefit them. I personally think Michigan St is a 1 seed. |
| Xavier | Congrats on winning the Big East outright despite dropping two games to Nova. |
| Duke | Incredible comeback by Duke. Tough draw for them in the ACCT, but they should be a 1 or 2 seed come Selection Sunday. |
| Gonzaga | Excited for a Zags-SMC part III. Zags are a tough out in March. |
| Michigan | Michigan once again wins the B1G. I could see them being a 2 or a 3 seed to be honest. |
| Cincinnati | Congrats on the American. They have a pretty easy draw in the tourney, with a good chance of playing Shocker Nation again. |
| Kansas | Well, they have the potential to play their best friends in the Big 12 Tourney: Oklahoma St. Have fun. |
| Purdue | Rutgers and Penn St each gave tough outings, but couldn't outlast Michigan. |
| Tennessee | tHiRtEeNtH iN tHe SeC |
| Arizona | These guys should honestly run away from the Pac 12. They could actually be the only team selected from the conference. |
| Wichita State | Shocker Nation loses at home once again. AACT will be fun when they potentially face Houston. |
| North Carolina | Tough week to be a UNC fan. That devastating loss to Three Point Chain U and a road loss to Duke back-to-back hurts. |
| Ohio State | What is with you guys and Penn State? |
| Auburn | What a regular season for Auburn, although not ending on the right foot. Still the #1 seed in the SECT. |
| Texas Tech | Tough way to end the season for the Red Raiders, but still a great season for them. I'll say they can be anywhere from 2-5 seed. |
| Saint Mary's | Survived a scare from Pepperdine. That could have ruined their at-large chances in my opinion. |
| Miami (FL) | Three Point Chain U with a very impressive week. They have a pretty good draw in the ACCT and will make some noise come March. |
| West Virginia | They did lose to Texas without Mo, but still have a solid draw in the Big 12 Tourney. Tough out in March. |
| Houston | Houston returns to the top 25 after a terrible week for the bottom half of the rankings. Will probable be between a 6-9 seed this Sunday. |
| Clemson | They still got a double bye in the ACCT, but have the chance to play Virginia if they beat Three Point Chain U. |
| TCU | I know they recently lost to Texas Tech on the road, but before that they were on a 4 game winning streak. I also dont know who to put here. |
| Nevada | Once again, these guys did just lose to San Diego St, but because everyone else lost this week, Nevada remains in the top 25. |
| Loyola Chicago | Probably the scariest 12 seed in the Tourney. Arch Madness Champions. |
