Rank | Team | Reason |
---|---|---|
| Virginia | Tier 1a |
| Duke | |
| Tennessee | Tier 1b |
| Gonzaga | Another week of Gonzaga brutally murdering the WCC what else is new? |
| Michigan | |
| Michigan State | Tier 1C Big oof loss vs Indiana. Hit your god damn free throws. Indiana tried to hand that game back to you |
| Kentucky | Stay behind UM/MSU.They're behind both most metrics (WAB, SOR, Kpom, torvik) and actually looking game by game doesn't make it look better |
| North Carolina | Nice win @ Louisville |
| Houston | Tier 2a Probably another week of Nevada getting ranked way above Houston for some reason, what else is new? |
| Marquette | Got their best road win so far. Solid test next weekend, but I'm really eying that 2/27 game |
| Kansas | Their SOS is ridiculous, but they can't keep regularly dropping games like @texas |
| Virginia Tech | That NC state game was umm... basketball. Have to respect the win, but NC st is looking more and more like they hid behind weak schedule |
| Villanova | No notable wins on the week, but they continue to take care of business |
| Purdue | Tier 2b QuALiTy lOSses+ Nevada tier. Toss up between them and wisco |
| Wisconsin | Very similar resume to Purdue |
| Nevada | Everyone in the teens sucked the week they took that horrific loss, so they didn't drop much. Now teams are shaping up and I'm jumping them |
| Iowa State | Took care of business, but two home wins against meh teams. Hence wisco jumping them |
| Louisville | UNC giveth and UNC taketh away |
| Iowa | If they could win anything of note on the road or at least a better neutral win then I would have them higher |
| Mississippi State | Tier 3: the big dropoff. Won at Ole Miss, who looks worse every day, but is still good enough to jump kstate |
| Kansas State | 5 losses, 3 of which are kinda rough, but better wins by far than those below |
| Cincinnati | took care of business vs smu meh |
| Texas Tech | @ Me all you want but they have 5 losses, and their "good" wins look worse every day. How many tourny quality wins do they have? One? |
| Buffalo | Their last 2 losses are bad, but teams at this far down either have losses just as bad, have beaten nobody, or have like 8 losses |
| LSU | Losing at home to Arkansas is around as bad as UB's loss on the road to BGSU. Dropped accordingly. 26: Washington 27: FSU 28: Wofford |
