2	North Carolina	Tar Heels have been excellent for the most part, but hard to make them #1 with the Northern Iowa loss
3	Iowa	Hawkeyes have been best team in the country the last month, and proved it by beating Purdue easily
4	Oklahoma	Good win over Baylor, tough loss to Iowa State
5	Texas A&M	Aggies have been playing well this whole year, and manage to get into Top 5
6	West Virginia	West Virginia beat Kansas and has played well in Big 12
7	Providence	Big win over Villanova, to recover from a shaky few games
8	Villanova	Tough loss to Friars - could be #1 if they won
9	Kansas	Lots of Big 12 teams beating up on each other
10	Louisville	Louisville has been very good this season so far
11	SMU	Undefeated until they lost handily to Temple - they may finally be coming back to Earth
12	Indiana	Hoosiers are doing well in Big 10 but haven't played that many good teams. What will happen when they do?
13	Miami (FL)	Hurricanes recovering nicely from pitiful early loss to Northeastern.
14	Maryland	Terps are doing well until losing to Sparty
15	Pitt	Pitt is doing well in the ACC, this could be their year to shine, maybe.
16	Baylor	Baylor doing well in Big 12, they'll beat up on each other
17	Arizona	Bouncing back nicely from USC loss
18	Saint Mary's	Big win against Gonzaga
19	South Carolina	Two pitiful losses, but they've won the rest. I don't know what to make of them at this point.
20	Iowa State	Another Big 12 team beating up on the rest.
21	Dayton	Only three losses, and they beat Iowa and GW. The A-10, or at least the top of it, is very good.
22	Purdue	Big loss to Iowa, but Iowa's a very good team. Still, they might want to at least make it close.
23	Hawaii	Only two losses, and one was a narrow one to Oklahoma.
24	Michigan State	Sparty bounced back nicely from two bad losses, but they're two bad losses just the same.
25	Virginia	Cavs get back in the poll this week after a nice win over Syracuse
