1 University of Kansas Logo Kansas I had them at #2 and they knocked off my #1. Yes I know Duke wasn't full strength. Yes I know they lost to Indiana. This teams the real deal
2 Duke University Logo Duke Took KU to the wire and beat a tough Rhode Island team. They've looked sluggish to start v. Penn St and GCU resulting in the one spot drop.
3 University of Kentucky Logo Kentucky Yes they routed Michigan State. I'm just not that high on Michigan State.
4 Villanova University Logo Villanova Big win @Purdue. I expect they will be #1 overall this week in the reddit poll. I still want to see more without Arcidiacano and Ochefu.
5 Indiana University Bloomington Logo Indiana I had them at 10 to start the season and that was still sleeping on them. They looked polished against KU and I forgot how good Blackmon is.
6 University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Logo North Carolina Stoked for the Indiana game. They routed a LBSU team that should win the Big West. I know it's the Big West but I was still impressed.
7 Gonzaga University Logo Gonzaga Highest climb in my poll. They absolutely embarrassed SDSU. Williams-Goss and Jordan Matthews are legit. Should contend for 1 seed and FF.
8 University of Oregon Logo Oregon They let me down with their loss to Baylor. Hopefully they can rebound when Brooks gets back, but the rest of the team is still talented.
9 University of Virginia Logo Virginia 62-38 win against Yale is impressive. Virginia is still Virginia.
10 University of Wisconsin-Madison Logo Wisconsin I thought this team was going to win B1G with ease. I think I just underestimated how much the B1G destroys eachother.
11 Syracuse University Logo Syracuse Beat Monmouth up. Lots of moving parts as I said before, but it looks like they have it figured out already. I expected more bumps.
12 Xavier University Logo Xavier Fell a bit in my rankings from 8 to 12. They looked sluggsih to start the season, but wins over Clemson and UNI help.
13 University of Arizona Logo Arizona I'm still not high on this team. Yes they beat Michigan State, but I wasn't high on them either. Trier coming back should help.
14 Saint Mary's College of California Logo Saint Mary's Big time win over Dayton. UAB and Stanford are their only other hard OOC games.
15 West Virginia University Logo West Virginia Haven't really played anyone... so they stay where I had them.
16 Creighton University Logo Creighton Big win over Wisconsin. Beat NC State. Feel kind of bad about them only going from 21 to 16. They might deserve better.
17 Michigan State University Logo Michigan State I was really not high on Arizona or Michigan State preseason, and then a beat down by Kentucky.
18 Purdue University Logo Purdue Lost to a good Nova team, but it was at home.
19 University of Rhode Island Logo URI Beat Cincy. The hype was real. I'm sorry I didn't rank you guys week 1.
20 University of Maryland, College Park Logo Maryland Looked sloppy to start the season but edged out a win @Georgetown. Cake conference schedule should allow them to end up in the top 10.
21 University of Cincinnati Logo Cincinnati Tough loss to Rhode Island. I still think this team is the real deal.
22 University of Colorado Logo Colorado Haven't played anyone so they stay where I had them.
23 North Carolina State University Logo NC State Move from 25 to 23 in my poll. Good win over Montana and played Creighton tough. Once Yurtseven starts playing they should be a real force.
24 University of California, Los Angeles Logo UCLA Haven't played anyone so they stay where I had them. Ball looks better than expected though, but that isn't enough for me to move them up.
25 University of Texas at Austin Logo Texas Didn't know who to put here. Hasn't really been a team that's impressed me. Considered: Iowa St, SDSU, Florida State, VT, OSU, Minnesota.
