1	Villanova	Early in the year, this doesn't mean much. But until they are knocked down, they're good. Good win @purdue
2	Kentucky	Well, maybe their crushing of MSU doesn't mean that much
3	North Carolina
4	Indiana
5	Kansas
6	Duke	This is kind of weird. Good win over a good Rhode Island team, but lost to KU, who lost to IU. High ceiiling, but injuries holding back.
7	Virginia	Looking really good. Bad news about Nichols, but this team is talented enough with an incredible coach.
8	Louisville	This team almost feels under the radar after last year not being eligible for tourney.
9	Xavier	Winning. Close games. But winning..
10	Gonzaga
11	Baylor	Again, it's early in the year, these are very fluid
12	Arizona
13	Oregon	I think Baylor winning speaks more about Baylor being underrated than Oregon overrated. Oregon will be good.
14	Michigan	I know this is a big jump from unranked. But, what the hell, this team is good. Great D and big win over SMU.
15	Creighton	Had them at 18 in preseason poll and I was worried that could be high. But took care of Wisconsin. Could contend in the Big East.
16	Syracuse
17	Purdue	lost to reigning champs, got jumped by a few teams that have looked good. Still a good team.
18	Wisconsin
19	Saint Mary's
20	UCLA	I was not sure on this team before the year. Alford hasn't necessarily done as well as he can. Looking real fine so far.
21	West Virginia
22	Iowa State	Schedule so far leaves a bit to be desired. But if guard play remains stellar, lack of height may not be as critical
23	URI	With early polls, it's hard to rank exclusively on results, some is projections and stuff, otherwise RI could move up. Great win over Cincy.
24	Miami (FL)
25	Wichita State	another under the radar team. Honorable Mentions: Florida, Maryland, UNI, Texas, Cal
