RankTeamReason
Michigan State University Logo Michigan State Love Izzo and think Bridges is the best player in the country.
Duke University Logo Duke Keep Grayson Allen, lose a ton of big names but of course because it's Duke bring in a load of top quality recruits.
University of Kansas Logo Kansas No Frank Mason, but Kansas always manages to lose stars and create new ones quick. I think the chemistry will fill in quickly.
Villanova University Logo Villanova I'm a Big East guy. I think Jalen Brunson is Big East player of the year and they still have some dangerous pieces. DiVincenzo can score.
University of Arizona Logo Arizona Dropped them a little because of some drama that went on with Jahvon Quinerly. Alkins isn't gonna be healthy to start the year hurts them.
University of Kentucky Logo Kentucky As usual mostly 5 star freshmen. Could be amazing could take months to learn to play together. Still like their upside.
University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Logo North Carolina Joel Berry prob out 1-2 games, but beginning of the season matters. Need to get a hot start, raining champions so still highly ranked for me
University of Cincinnati Logo Cincinnati Buying high on Cincy. They play in a weaker conference, sorry but it's true. If they can roll through their OOC they're deadly.
University of Florida Logo Florida Florida should be back this year. Didn't have a bad year, but will really shine this year and give UK some SEC competition.
West Virginia University Logo West Virginia At the beginning of a season always go with coaches to help a guess at the top 25. Huggins can make diamonds out of crap, but WVU has talent
Wichita State University Logo Wichita State Returning a lot, new conference, tons of unknowns. I'm not buying just yet would love to eat my words and put them top 10 after a few weeks.
University of Notre Dame Logo Notre Dame Bonzi Colson, Matt Farrell, Rex Pflueger, and of course Mike Brey. This team will score the 3 and rebound with the best of them.
University of Minnesota Logo Minnesota The little Pitino is coming off a strong year and I think they'll only get better. Amir Coffey is my favorite. He is scary good in iso sets.
Seton Hall University Logo Seton Hall Delgado is the best big man college basketball has seen in a long time. They return most of their team that is a final four sleeper for me.
Purdue University Logo Purdue #15 because they're always 15th. They are the perfect mid top 25 team every year and every week haha.
Gonzaga University Logo Gonzaga Lost the finals, lost a lot of talent, but still think it's Gonzaga and they have enough coming in to emerge again.
University of Southern California Logo USC Good mixture of underclassmen with upper classmen. If the chemistry is there the PAC will be fun.
University of Miami (Florida) Logo Miami (FL) ACC basketball is ACC basketball. I dropped them a little because of Laranaga stuff going on could cause distractions.
Xavier University Logo Xavier Sean Omara running the offense. JP Macura scoring the 3 and Trevon Bluiett in the running for Big East POY. Good coaching as well with Mack.
Northwestern University Logo Northwestern 1 hit wonder or a future wrecking force? Time will tell, can't wait to follow them again after a historic year.
University of California, Los Angeles Logo UCLA Lost a lot and that will hurt them.
University of Virginia Logo Virginia Can't have a top 25 without the most consistently ranked team. Hate Kyle Guy but he's a scorer and I think Jack Salt will be solid.
University of Louisville Logo Louisville God only knows, could be #23 could be dead last with all the nonsense.
Providence College Logo Providence Like I said go with coaches at the beginning of a toss up ranking top 25. Cooley has the experience and the talent as usual.
University of Alabama Logo Alabama Avery Johnson has finally brought in the talent and has shown he's a great coach early in his career. Let's see if they're the real deal.
