RankTeamReason
Michigan State University Logo Michigan State (+1) The mighty fell and MSU takes their spot. Get Maryland at home and then travel to Columbus to open B1G play.
Duke University Logo Duke (+1) Played a crazy back and forth game against FSU. Defense is still an issue, but who needs defense when you have Bagley. @NCSU this week.
Villanova University Logo Villanova (-2) They lose to Butler AGAIN. It isn't a bad loss, but they looked awful for stretches in the 2nd half. Marquette at home this week.
Arizona State University Logo Arizona State (-) Lost @ then (18) Arizona. A lot of teams would do that. 2 big road games @ Colorado and Utah. Need to avoid a meltdown.
West Virginia University Logo West Virginia (+1) Went to Stillwater and left with a W. They keep rolling. Go to KSU and then will have my (8) OU at home on Sunday. Big week.
Xavier University Logo Xavier (+1) They keep winning, but look awful doing it. Get Butler at home and go to Providence, won't be able to play like that this week.
Wichita State University Logo Wichita State (+1) Beat a bad UCONN team on the road. Get a top 30-40 Houston team at home and then USF.
University of Oklahoma Logo Oklahoma (+7) HUGE jump for me. I had them (15) and TCU (16) but I'm going all in on OU. Trae Young will face his best defense Saturday @ (5) WVU.
University of Kansas Logo Kansas (-) Opened w/ a big win @Texas. Get (18) TTU @ home followed by a road game against TCU. Could be a really good or bad week for KU.
Texas A&M University Logo Texas A&M (-5) Had some suspensions, but got embarrassed by Bama on the road. Still my SEC favorite but that was disappointing. UF and LSU this week.
University of Virginia Logo Virginia (-1) Almost fell to BC at JPJ. Can forget about that by winning @VT and against (13) UNC at home this week.
Purdue University Logo Purdue (-1) Get Buttgers and Nebraska at home. Should win both of these with ease.
University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Logo North Carolina (-1) Got complacent against WF and almost lost. Huge week for my Heels going to (25) FSU and (11) UVA. Gotta play better or it'll be 0-2.
University of Arizona Logo Arizona (+4) Beat then (4) ASU at home. Looking more and more like the team we thought they'd be.
University of Miami (Florida) Logo Miami (FL) (-2) Won @Pitt. Go to GT before getting (25) FSU @ home who could be coming off of a big win over UNC.
University of Kentucky Logo Kentucky (-2) Drop 2 because they got jumped by OU and Zona. Murdered Louisville @ Rupp. Big road test for the Frosh @ (22) Tennessee this week.
Texas Christian University Logo TCU (-1) Led for most of the game against then (15) OU. Couldn't quite pull it out but that is still a #QualityLoss.
Texas Tech University Logo Texas Tech (+5) Demolished then (17) Baylor at home. Im not sure I buy in 100% but a good showing @ (9) KU will convince me.
Gonzaga University Logo Gonzaga (-) Beating up on their conference cupcakes like they should. Not much will be going on for them for the rest of the year.
University of Cincinnati Logo Cincinnati (-) Beat a bad Memphis team. Should win @Temple and at home against SMU this week.
Seton Hall University Logo Seton Hall (+1) Beat then (24) Creighton and St John's to open Big East play. Big game @Butler this week.
University of Tennessee Logo Tennessee (-1) Only dropping because of what SHU did. Lost an OT game @Arky where they led for 90% of the game. Tough to penalize them for that.
University of Arkansas Logo Arkansas (NR) They finally made my ballot. Gutted one out at home against then (21) Tennessee. Their victory over OU in Portland looks great.
Clemson University Logo Clemson (NR) Welcome to the ballot. Demolished NCSU at home and still have only one loss. I think they deserve this spot.
Florida State University Logo Florida State (NR) Dropping them was a mistake. (Considered: Houston, ND, Creighton, Baylor, Auburn)
