Duke University Logo Duke (LW: 1) Maui time. Let's see if Duke's young squad can further secure its spot at the top.
University of Virginia Logo Virginia (LW: 3) I've been slightly more impressed with the Hoos so far, so they take #2 for this week.
University of Kansas Logo Kansas (LW: 2) Vick has been phenomenal this week, but I've been concerned with the lack of production from the freshmen guards.
Gonzaga University Logo Gonzaga (LW: 4) Maui will be one of the few chances to see this team face opponents of their own quality.
University of Michigan Logo Michigan (LW: 13) Reactionary? Maybe. But two weeks into the season, I see no problem with giving Michigan this big of a jump.
University of Nevada, Reno Logo Nevada (LW: 5) Nevada's schedule is weaker than I initially thought, it may be tough for them to get a 1 or 2 seed without 30+ wins.
University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Logo North Carolina (LW: 6) Could be a two top 25 matchups for UNC this week; a chance to keep up with other top teams.
Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University Logo Virginia Tech (LW: 12) Not the strongest field in Charleston but VT got a great win in the finals against Purdue.
Auburn University Logo Auburn (LW: 8) The dark horse heading into Maui, they may need to go against both Duke and Gonzaga to get a title.
University of Tennessee Logo Tennessee (LW: 9) I really want to see the Vols face Kansas in NYC this week, if both teams can take care of business in the 1st round.
University of Kentucky Logo Kentucky (LW: 10) VMI made 19 3-pointers? Good god.
Michigan State University Logo Michigan State (LW: 14) MSU won by 68 points? Good god.
Florida State University Logo Florida State (LW: 15) I think with Villanova's bad week, FSU becomes the favourite in Orlando this week.
University of Iowa Logo Iowa (LW: NR) So Iowa had a good performance this week. They deserve this spot right now but time will tell whether or not they're top 15 caliber
Kansas State University Logo Kansas State (LW: 18) Penn is a decent win, but KSU might get passed by some teams who play in quality tournaments this week.
University of Nebraska-Lincoln Logo Nebraska (LW: 20) Who knows how decent Seton Hall is, but Nebrasketball is looking impressive nonetheless.
Ohio State University Logo Ohio State (LW: NR) A bit of oversight on my part not having OSU ranked last week, they're right back at last year's level
University of Texas at Austin Logo Texas (LW: 23) We'll see how they stack up against the other teams in Las Vegas this week, but I think they can surprise people.
North Carolina State University Logo NC State (LW: NR) Another team that maybe should have been ranked last week.
University of Maryland, College Park Logo Maryland (LW: 21) A bit of a test this week against Marshall, followed by UVA around the corner.
Texas Christian University Logo TCU (LW: 22) This team is missing some key players so some they've earned some lenience
Mississippi State University Logo Mississippi State (LW: NR) I'm still a bit low on this team, and their non-con schedule really shouldn't challenge them much.
University of Oregon Logo Oregon (LW: 17) The Iowa loss is a lot less damaging than it initially appeared.
University at Buffalo Logo Buffalo (LW: 25) The WVU win is losing some of its magnitude, but it's still enough to land them in the top 25
Iowa State University Logo Iowa State (LW: NR) Very interested in how they do against a tough Maui field. Next 5: LSU, UCLA, Vandy, Purdue, St. John's
