4	Nevada	+1 Several close wins against mid-majors, but Nevada heads into conference play undefeated.
5	Kansas	-4 The dam finally bursts for the worst best team in basketball – though they still have three big Ws on the resume.
6	Tennessee	0 I think you could flip Gonzaga and Tennessee, but it’s close.
7	Gonzaga	0 Definitely a sizable gap between the top 7 and the rest of the poll.
8	Texas Tech	+1 Both Tech and Auburn have played Duke well in close losses.
9	Arizona State	+6 I don’t put much stock in that loss against Vandy (and its terrible gym) and stake this move on the Kansas W.
10	Auburn	-2 Not a great week for Auburn with a loss at NC St. Very similar resume to Michigan St.
11	Michigan State	0
12	Florida State	0 A very nice win against St. Louis after jumping on them early and not letting up.
13	Marquette	+3 WOW. Can we independently rank Markus Howard and Marquette? What a performance!

15	North Carolina	-5 Not sure how to feel about this team after they feed off the home energy to beat Gonzaga and then fall to Kentucky.
16	Kentucky	+1 I’ve been encouraged that they’re playing better defense and it seems like Coach Cal is starting to figure out a rotation.
17	Wisconsin	-3
18	Ohio State	+1 A very nice win on Saturday over UCLA.
19	NC State	NR Beating Auburn at home and only losing to Wisconsin by four on the road is better than the rest of these teams.
20	Buffalo	-2 Went to their great win over Syracuse and watched that beatdown by Marquette on TV.
21	Mississippi State	+1
22	Nebraska	+1
23	Indiana	+1
24	St. John's	-3 I think I was a bit too exuberant ranking St. Johns last week. Just needed a little correction.
