University of Virginia Logo Virginia (LW: 1) 1 vs 2 (at least in my books), should be an incredible game on Saturday.
Duke University Logo Duke (LW: 3) Tre Jones is an animal on defence, Shamorie Ponds who?
University of Tennessee Logo Tennessee (LW: 5) The Vols keep winning and still just waiting for that big matchup with Kentucky.
University of Michigan Logo Michigan (LW: 2) Still clinging to a lead in the B1G; revenge game against Wisconsin on Saturday.
University of Kentucky Logo Kentucky (LW: 6) Perhaps the hottest team in basketball currently, but the schedule doesn't get any easier in the next few weeks.
Michigan State University Logo Michigan State (LW: 4) Uh, not exactly what the Spartans expected to happen on national TV against a slumping Indiana team.
Gonzaga University Logo Gonzaga (LW: 8) Good showing on the road against BYU. This week is two home games against the best of the rest in the WCC.
Marquette University Logo Marquette (LW: 9) Time to put up or shut up with the Nova game this week
University of Kansas Logo Kansas (LW: 7) It was a party on Saturday in Allen Fieldhouse, almost made me forget the loss to Texas. Almost.
University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Logo North Carolina (LW: 13) Things are looking up for the Heels, the ACC may have a third challenger.
Villanova University Logo Villanova (LW: 11) The Big East still runs through Philly, but this trip to Milwaukee is a great chance to secure that.
University of Nevada, Reno Logo Nevada (LW: 10) Ya, they did nothing wrong this week, but they're just not playing the same level of competition as everyone else.
Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University Logo Virginia Tech (LW: 14) I guess some credit should go to VT's defence for whatever the hell happened in Raleigh on Saturday.
Purdue University Logo Purdue (LW: 19) 6 losses be damned, this team is one of the best in the country as of late.
University of Houston Logo Houston (LW: 17) I think soon they'll reach Nevada, both teams have similar resumes.
Iowa State University Logo Iowa State (LW: 20) Who's the B12 team with the best chance to unseat Kansas? I think it's still the Cyclones but OU will look to upset them on Monday.
Texas Tech University Logo Texas Tech (LW: 15) Culver's bad game, along with sloppy defence, gave KU a much needed win. The Raiders aren't out of the title race yet, though.
University of Iowa Logo Iowa (LW: 22) Iowa's upcoming schedule is rather light (for B1G standards) so they could rise up the list in February.
Louisiana State University Logo LSU (LW: 12) Ouch, Arkansas usually struggles on the road but they still managed to knock off the Tigers in Baton Rouge.
University of Louisville Logo Louisville (LW: 16) Louisville's next 3 opponents are slated to be ranked. No time for respite after the loss to UNC.
University of Wisconsin-Madison Logo Wisconsin (LW: NR) Only 1 game out of the B1G lead, can the Badgers find the consistency to challenge for a title?
Mississippi State University Logo Mississippi State (LW: 25) LSU and UK both come to Starkville this week, a huge chance for the Bulldogs to make a statement.
Florida State University Logo Florida State (LW: NR) FSU has struggled to get quality wins, they have two prime opportunities this week: @Syracuse and vs Louisville
University of Washington Logo Washington (LW: NR) I guess there's a decent team in the Pac 12 after all. The Huskies can jump a lot higher if they survive the road trip to Arizona.
Kansas State University Logo Kansas State (LW: NR) Just in time to host KU, the Wildcats are hoping that the B12 can be theirs. Next 5: Cincy, Syracuse, Baylor, Buffalo, Maryland
